Trading on Tennis

Tennis is one of the easiest sports to trade on. This is because the market never gets suspended like in football and the odds movements are much more predictable than horse racing. When I trade on tennis I almost always stick to trading on the favourite. This is because the liquidity is so much better.

The important thing to remember is that all key events will cause the odds to move. In tennis these are break points and break of serve. For instance, if Murray goes 0-30 up, I will back him. If he wins the next point he will have 3 break points at 0-40. I could trade out for a profit or wait for him to win the game and trade out for an even bigger profit. If his opponent game back to 40-40 then I could trade out to break even. Key events like this happen several times during a tennis match so making a profit is almost guaranteed when you have learnt how to take advantage of them.
